Baby Room

Children in the Baby Room are aged between 3 and 15 months. Children can move up to the Toddler Room any time from 12 months depending on their development.

Facilities
The Baby Room is designed to give the children a holistic experience. Resources are laid out so they can be reached by the children e.g. by crawling and are chosen to stimulate all their senses.

The younger children at Old Palace Nursery (Babies and Toddlers) have their own garden. This is covered so the children can have access to the outside all year round.

Routine
We will follow the routine that you and your baby have at home and will work with you to adapt it as they grow. Parents are asked to fill out an ‘All about me’ sheet before your child starts nursery. This, as well as your one-to-one meeting, will allow you to inform us of any allergies or needs that your child might have.

Meals
All our food is cooked onsite using fresh ingredients by our personal chef and babies have their own nursery tea.

Our partnership with you
Your child will be given a plastic folder with two exercise books telling you all about your child's day and give you the opportunity to feed back to us through the contact book.
