On Saturday 27 April some of the Y3-6 Palace Singers performed at the Coulsdon & Purley Prizewinners Concert held at Wilsons School in Wallington.
It was the 80th anniversary of the Festival and we were thrilled to be nominated and receive the Chairman’s Cup. The Chairman spoke about how choirs and musicians from Old Palace had entered the Festival since 1978 and then said ‘this award recognises years of sustained musical excellence at the school’.
Congratulations to all the girls who sang and a big thank you to Mr Randall our brilliant piano accompanist and Miss Tosh for all her support.
