Last Thursday, Year 13 experienced an insightful PSHE lesson about life at university. Ex Old Palace students spoke about their experiences at university and gave us some tips about how to maximise our time as students. It was lovely to see some familiar faces, such as Iman, Danielle and Demi, to mention just a few.
It was inspiring to see how far they have come and what they have achieved. They gave us some essential information on a range of topics from finance to accommodation. One of the financial tips they gave us was to have a balance with our money. They advised us to be wise on what we spend it on but also not be frugal to the point of no enjoyment. We appreciated how free spoken and honest the speakers where in response to our questions. This has given us a clearer idea on what to expect in our future university journey.
