Reception’s topic this term is traditional Fairy Tales. To support learning, we had a special Fairy Tale Day where the girls dressed up as their favourite character.
In Literacy, we read stories and re-told them through role-play. We also focused on a character description of The Big Bad Wolf and made wanted posters. In DT we all worked together to make Fairy cakes. We read the recipe carefully and checked that we had all of the ingredients. After that we weighed, mixed and baked. Finally, the Fairy cakes were decorated – delicious!
