The Old Palace Urban Design Challenge team entry has been shortlisted as one of the best design entries in the 16-18yr category in the 2023 Design Future London competition.
The challenge was to redesign a part of central Croydon, and the teams were tasked with identifying a particular part of the high street to focus on and to create a design that met the needs of the local community.
The Old Palace team chose to redesign the Allders building, converting it into a sustainable community hub.
