The Chair of the OPA, Katherine Homatas, has written the following tribute to HM Queen Elizabeth II.
The sad loss of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will be profoundly felt throughout the Old Palace Alumnae community as for many of us, she has been our stalwart Queen for our whole lives, visiting Old Palace in 1960 and 1996.
Her dedication to duty, devotion to her people, unfailing grace and dignity have been an inspiration to us all. We extend our deepest sympathies to her beloved family at this sad time; we know they will miss her dearly.
