2J were delighted to welcome Mick from the RNLI today. The RNLI workshop brought to life the learning in the Cornerstones topic, Coastline. Mick explained how the RNLI was founded by Sir William Hillary in 1824. This year, the organisation will be celebrating its 200th birthday – look out for articles and news reports in the press about the charity.
