The student leadership team and charity committee have organized a host of fun activities for this festive season at Seniors. They have selected four local Croydon charities to support: Croydon Refugee Day Centre, Croydon Nightwatch, Crisis Skylight Croydon and the Salvation Army Croydon. Each charity is working hard within the Croydon community to support the homeless, refugees and those who are struggling financially.
We welcomed Chris from the Salvation Army in to speak at assembly to launch our campaign, and he spoke to students about the challenges people are facing this winter and how our donations will help to make a difference. Students have collected food donations, hosted a mini fair, hosted a Nativity! Movie night and organised Christmas jumper day – all to raise funds. Thank you to everyone who has contributed so generously.
