On Monday, a team of four U13 students represented the school in Table Tennis at an event run by the Croydon Sports Partnership. The event was at Harris City Academy in Crystal Palace. For some students, this was their first time at a sporting event representing our school – so well done to them!
Just three schools were taking part. Against Coloma, the Old Palace team won just one of their matches but the scores were close which helped with the final placings. Against Harris Old Palace lost two matches and won two matches – but again there were some close scores which helped. This meant the Old Palace Team were placed SECOND overall!
Well done to Zainab, Sarah, Harini and Ella for taking part, for coping against some really strong players and for keeping the score lines so close!
