The past couple of weeks have been extremely busy with Water Polo! Our Old Palace Under 15 team participated in the prestigious England South/South East preliminary rounds of the English School Championships last week.
We had a small team of nine players from Years 7 to 10, with only two from the highest Year 10 age group. The team played extremely well against some very tough opposition. We unfortunately lost two of our three games to the overall leading two teams, who progress through to the finals in Northampton.
The Old Palace team were overjoyed to have held their final opponents, Colfe’s, to a 2 – 2 draw, finishing in third place overall!
