Year 1 Enjoys Open Top Bus Tour of London

Year 1 enjoyed a fabulous journey around London on an open top bus.

We travelled by minibus to Waterloo and walked through Waterloo station. It was interesting seeing the trains. Then we got on our open top tour bus and were ready to tour the landmarks.

We saw the London Eye, Royal Courts of Justice, St Paul’s Cathedral, the Gherkin, Monument, Tower Bridge, the Tower of London, Houses of Parliament, Nelson’s Column, Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace. We also enjoyed eating the cookies that we had made the day before for our journey; they were very tasty!

Our guide Dominic, told us many interesting facts. Our favourite was that Waterloo bridge was built by women, on time and under budget! We were amazed by all that we saw!
