Year 2’s current topic is Movers and Shakers. Pupils are learning about the lives of significant people from the past and present.
Last week, pupils visited statues and monuments in the local area, including the one of Samuel Coleridge Taylor, Queen Victoria and John Whitgift.
Their final stop was Croydon Airport. Did you know that the airport played a major role in the development of global air travel after World War One?
