Year 5 experienced their first taste of what life might be like for them in Year 7, when they visited Old Palace Senior School this morning, as part of their introduction to Seniors programme.
Families were welcomed by Mrs Burton and Mrs Nike with hot chocolate and pastries. After a talk by Mrs Burton and our two new Head Girls, Alison and Suraiya, the girls were taken to the Science block where they enjoyed a fascinating science lesson making ‘butterflies.’ This was followed by two very grown-up, thought-provoking sessions in either Philosophy or Classics.
Meanwhile, parents were taken on a tour of the site before being able to put their questions to Mrs Burton. Thank you so much to all the parents who came; we really enjoyed meeting you.
