It is with great sadness that the John Whitgift Foundation has announced the closure of Old Palace School in August 2025 (with the Pre School & Prep likely to close in August 2024). We are hosting this year’s OPA Summer Reunion on Saturday 29 June 2024. Due to the school’s imminent closure in August 2025 we are expecting a high demand for tickets, which will be available to book after easter.
OPA Carol Service: the last OPA Carol Service will be taking place in December 2024.
The OPA allows past pupils to re-connect, enjoy regular events and remember their time at Old Palace.

University Destinations
After another year of brilliant efforts, our Upper Sixth Form students achieved their outstanding results through a commitment to sustained hard work and motivation from their applications to higher education and employment.
Congratulations to Sophia, who is studying English & French at Oxford University and to our Joint Head Girls, Suraiya and Alison, who are studying Maths at Warwick and Geography at UCL.
Half of students secured places at Russell Group universities.
70% of students achieved their first/second choice of university. Most popular destinations include: City, University of London (4): St. George’s (4): UCL (4): King’s College London (3).
Courses include: Medicine, Biomedical/Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Physics, Osteopathy, Psychology, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Art, English, Economics, Geography, History & Ancient History, Maths, Politics, PE.
